Description

Summary: 2 Late Bronze Age / Early Iron Age pottery body sherds, no decoration. 6 Roman pottery sherds, 4 coarseware base and body sherds, 1 greyware body sherd and 1 possible Samian ware body sherd but surfaces completely abraded, no decoration. 1 flat piece of chalk roughly shaped to a disc and stone possibly used as a polisher / rubber as 1 surface appears smoothed. Collected from Lynchets at Hassocks, Aldbourne, Wiltshire by Andrew Sewell in 1989.
