Description

Summary: The first two cards show the premises of Lucy and Co., printers and stationers in Marlborough High Street. One of the cards has printed on the front "Ancient House, High Street, Marlborough" and "This building is interesting to Visitors as it is supposed to have been a Nunnery. There is also a large Oak room with some very fine carving. The House can be dated back 500 years.A curiosity is the Sundial in the large bow window with a Fly blown into the glass." The third card shows an internal oak staircase. Printed in the front are the words "Oak staircase at Lucy and Co's Marlborough." This house is now known as The Merchant's House.
