Description

Summary: Anglo-Saxon gold and copper alloy sword pommel cap, of 'cocked-hat' type, dating to 7th century AD. Both faces bear beaded filigree interlace, one end is missing and one end is distorted from plough damage. Found with in 2010, in the Cricklade Area of Wiltshire.
