Description

Summary: 31 Roman, pottery sherds, no decoration. 9 black burnished ware, 3 rims and rest body sherds, 18 greyware, 2 bases, 3 rims and rest body sherds, and 4 Samian ware sherds, 2 rim and 2 body sherds. With 1 piece of worked stone possibly used as a whetstone, 2 Mesolithic worked flints, 1 core and 1 utilized flake, and 3 Neolithic flint waste flakes. Collected from Woodsend Pond, Aldbourne, Wiltshire by Andrew Sewell in 1990.
