Description

Identification note: this earthwork enclosure, a sheep pen, is called 'Druids House' in Stukeley's Praetorium.

Summary: 24 fragments of sheep bone, including those of leg, horn and skull, jaw and teeth, found during excavation of the inner medieval earthwork enclosure north of Morgan's Hill, Devizes, by Maud and Ben Cunnington in 1909.
