Description

Summary: 1 large flint Handaxe with an elongated point, produced on a flint cobble, Cortex remains on 50% and it is highly polished from gravel and sand action. Very heavy and has the appearance of a stretched Ficron Handaxe, possibly more of a chopping tool of Acheulian type, from a gravel bed at Milford Hill, Salisbury, Wiltshire.
