Description

Summary: 27 assorted waste flint flakes, many retouched for use as cutting or scraping tools, could be either Mesolithic or Neolithic as recovered together with Medieval, Romano British and Samian sherds, found in topsoil of Cutting 4a, from a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans on behalf of the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1967.
