Summary: 1 black and white photograph of a painting of Sarah Harriet Mostyn-Owen, mother of John Mytton, an ancestor of the Rich family of Devizes Castle, Wiltshire. This three-quarter length portrait shows the seated lady in a black/dark velvet gown with white/pale lace collar and sleeves with a white/pale scarf draped over her shoulders. She wears a black/dark velvet hat, pearl and pendant necklace with a long (gold) chain from neck to lap supporting two pendants. Her hair is in ringlets. Anotoated on the reverse, "Photograph from beautiful old miniature (glass was removed) of John Mytton of Halston's mother nee Mostyn Owen - miniature ???? in my possession. Late 1826".
