Description

Identification note: one of a collection of 6 inch OS maps which are described as "Curator's Annotated" maps. No indication of who made the annotations and when. Each map is stamped "Archaeology Division Ordnance Survey 29 Jan 1958". This is Berkshire Sheet XXXIII SW.

Summary: Ordnance Survey map Sheet XXX SW, scale I :10560 (6 inches to 1 mile), 1925 Edition, showing the Froxfield area of Wiltshire and the Hungerford area of Berkshire annotated with notes about archaeological features and finds.
