Description

Summary: 1 Early Medieval (Saxon), grass tempered, pottery body sherd, 1 Iron Age furrowed bowl sherd and 1 Neolithic, flint side scraper. With Late Bronze Age / Early Iron Age and Late Roman and Roman, pottery body sherds. Roman sherds, grey, coarse and black burnished ware. No decoration on sherds. Collected from Southward Down, Aldbourne, Wiltshire by Andrew Sewell in 1993.
