Identification note: All marked D.S. or D.5 indicating retrieval from 'superficial layers of inner ditch' but at no given section WANHM XLIII p58

Summary: 9 body sherds of coarse undecorated Early Iron Age All Cannings Cross ware fabricated from a sandy material with poorly sorted flint and chalk inclusions, from the early Iron Age Hillfort at Figsbury Rings, Winterbourne Dauntsey, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs M. E. Cunnington and Mr B. H. Cunnington, 1924.
