flint waste

Description

Summary: 18 waste flint flake, probably neolithic but found in the top fill of Ditch II, Cutting IVb where the mesolithic soil had been cut and filled by an earlier ditch and therefore mesolithic flints are also found, from a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans, on behalf of the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1967.
