Description

Identification note: All 3 barrows previously excavated by J Thurnam in 1860, see WAM VI, p.323.

Summary: 1 regular shaped standstone, fits nicely in the hand, could be a polishing stone, from round barrow G62, Roughridge Hill, Bishops Cannings, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs E Proudfoot, 1964.
