flint waste

Description

Summary: 77 waste flake - debitage from flint knapping - mixture of mesolithic and neolithic due to the nature of the ditch cutting. All found in the buried soil under ploughwash of Ditch I in Cutting IIb, from a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans, on behalf of the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1967.
