Description

Summary: 1 small annular brooch of triangular cross-section with engraved and gilded decoration on the upper surface and around the edge consisting of spaced imitation letter linked by parallel lines. A thick pin with a collar swivels around a groove at the top of the brooch, from Ludgershall Castle, a Medieval Royal Castle and hunting lodge in East Wiltshire, excavated by Peter Addyman and Southampton University, 1964-1972.
