Content summary: 27 September 1803 : HP Wyndham to William Cunnington - asks him to keep his books until later. 'Did he know that one of the flat barrows in the group at the end of Woodyeat's Lane is intersected partially by the Roman Road? If you did, I suppose that it would not have escaped your examination, as it might lead to ascertain the period of similar discoveries as this barrow must have been formed prior to the ancient road.'
