flint waste

Description

Summary: 100 waste flake -many core flake - mostly neolithic found in the primary fill of Ditch I, Cutting IIa. Some of the finer flakes may possibly be from earlier depositions of mesolithic debitage, from a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans, on behalf of the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1967.
