Description

Summary: a group of locally made coarse ware sherds, some with oxidised surfaces, flint and quartz inclusions, some with thumb decoration, possibly most belonging to the early medieval chemical oven box 5146, from 107-109 Marlborough High Street, Marlborough, Wiltshire, excavated by Thamesdown Archaeological Trust, 1988.
