Description
Summary: 1 buckle with oval cast copper-alloy loop, iron tongue and tapering sheet copper-alloy double plate, from Grave 57, the plate is wrapped round the buckle loop and is secured to the belt at the further end by a single iron rivet, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
