Identification note: drawing commissioned by Sir Thomas Phillipps

Identification note: paper watermarked 1815

Summary: 1) An ancient arch near the south bridge, pointed and pillared arch doorway. (2) Circular seal with latin around edge and turreted, square, stone building with domed tower to centre. (3) Oval seal containing three robed figures, central with crown with arched detail above, below figure in armour? title seal of Abbey (4) "The Arms of the Abbey". Shield with two lions below crown, flanked by two crooks (crossiers?)
