Description

Summary: 1 polished boar tusk perforated with a hole for suspension, from the early Iron Age settlement at All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings Cross, Wiltshire. Some iron staining remaining where fragment of iron was once in the hole - possibly suspended or attached to an iron ring. Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
