Description

Summary: Late medieval , 15th century AD, silver gilt pendant in the form of a crucifix. On the front is the moulded figure of Jesus with head bent, body shaped in a long 'S', draped loins and feet on a cross board. On the back is a moulded figure of Mary holding the infant Jesus in her left arm. Found with the use of a metal detector in ????, in the parish of Market Lavington, Wiltshire.
