Description

Summary: 1 polished bone weaving comb with perforated handle, broken teeth, and hole for suspension probably used on an upright loom, from the early Iron Age settlement at All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings Cross, Wiltshire. Some decoration in the form of lightly incised lines and a repair made to the decorated handle . Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
