Description

Summary: 1 boxed jug with single handle having an area of restoration some surface abrasion and minor damage to the rim but remaining a hansome item of fine highly-polished black ware decorated with lines radiating from the base of the neck and having a banding of light random "up and down" incised decoration contained by concentric lines also of a free nature, from Westbury Iron Works, Heywood, Westbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mr Henry Cunnington, 1877-82.
