Description

Summary: 1 body sherd in a fine fabric with sparse white inclusions up to 2mm in length, with a red undecorated interior and exterior, possible bell beaker(?), found in disturbed soil in the region of stone hole 39(?), from West Kennet Long Barrow, Avebury, Wiltshire, excavated by Professor Stuart Piggott and his staff and students at the Department of Prehistoric Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh, 1955-56.1
