Description

Summary: 1 metatarsal bone of a sheep with faint grooves and some polish on the shaft, highly polished and burnt, from the Iron Age period, from the early Iron Age settlement (early La Tene period) at Swallowcliffe Down, Swallowcliffe, Wiltshire. Excavated by Dr R C C Clay, 1925.
