Content summary: 18 January 1800 : HP Wyndham to Wiliam Cunnington - thanks him for his 'very accurate drawing & plan of the Roman Ruins in Pit Mead'. Thinks the plan of the villa is 'curious' and that looking at an account of Mansfield Woodhouse might help. Remembers seeing a large barrow in the field south of Pit Mead which appears not to have been excavated. Is not aware of any military road from Sorbiodum to Aqua Sulis.
