Description

Summary: 1 piece of Iron Age worked iron. Identified as a cleat. Consists of a flat oval section with rods at each end at right angles to it. 1 end 90% missing. From the early Iron Age settlement (early La Tene period) at Swallowcliffe Down, Swallowcliffe, Wiltshire. Excavated by Dr R C C Clay, 1925.
