sandstone

Description

Summary: 3 slabs of sandstone / oolite, 2 of which have countersunk holes in them. They were found near the Arn Hill barrows, possibly they formed a cist to protect another burnt burial and was missed by workmen. The 3rd slab has geological features. There is a possibility that the slabs with holes were roof tiles. Found in Warminster, Wiltshire.
