Summary: A black and white sketch or view of the Remains of the Northern Temple at Abury Aug 1722, showing the location of Abury Steeple (A), the Cove (B), and Windmill Hill (C). On the reverse is a note stating "The Northern Circle and Cove in 1724 as sketched by Wiliam Stukeley before the stonebreakers destroyed most of the stones. Dr William Stukeley visted Avebury from 1719-1724 and recorded the antiquities of the area. These were oublished in 1743
