Description

Summary: 2 strip of iron, folded over into a 'U' shape and rivetted across at the open end with one rivet, wood remains seen adhering to the inside and therefore probably used as a binding , from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
