Identification note: Photographer Burgess of Market Lavington (1890-1939)

Summary: mounted photographs, 1 sepia, group of NCO's in Wiltshire Regiment, venue not identified but ? India. Annotated on reverse 'Richard Alexander in photo, landlord of the King's Arms in Market Lavington'. Research of Kew shows no Richard in the Wilts Regiment but there is a Robert who could be a brother of Richard. Second photograph annotated Richard Alexander, landlord of Kings Arms, Market Lavington, mounted on a horse. Richard died 3 August 1910 aged 64 years and was buried at Easterton Church. Noted as father of George.
