Description

Summary: 1 large fragment from a medieval roof tile, thinly glazed green with knife cut wcks-wmb ridges with slashes at trein base in fabric I- northe wiltshire oolitic limestone tempered ware, from an excavation at New Park Street, Devizes, Wiltshire, carried out by the Field Archaeology Unit, Institute of Archaeology, University College London, 1990.

Research results

Excavations at New Park Street, Devizes, Wiltshire, revealed a sequence of three buildings, 15th? and 17-18th century, as well as a number of Post-Medieval features including a well and an icehouse, carried out by the Field Archaeology Unit, Institute of Archaeology, University College London, 1990.
