Description

Identification note: Found approximately 200 worked flints in 4 to 5 feet diameter space in inner ditch of Figsbury Camp at 'e' on plan indeicating an Iron Age knapping floor

Summary: 15 large mainly secondary flakes, unpatinated, mostly mid to light grey flint, from the early Iron Age Hillfort at Figsbury Rings, Winterbourne Dauntsey, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs M. E. Cunnington and Mr B. H. Cunnington, 1924.
