Description

Summary: 1 bag, 6 fragmentary glass pieces, 2 from the Roman period both being green coloured and hexagonal shaped, 1 glass armlet fragment probably from Meare La Tene 3 period, 1 possible tessera fragment also in green, 1 half of a blue glass bead with snaking white glass infusion and not closely dateable and suggested as Iron Age to Saxon, plus 1 globular glass blob, all items being marked with previous numbers. From the Marlborough College Collection, transferred to the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society in 1981.
