Description

Summary: The ceramic vessel assemblage found during excavation of the Late Bronze Age to Middle Iron Age and Romano-British Settlement at 'Black Furlong', Blacklands, Calne Without, ahead of the excavation of a slurry pit in 2005. Sherds from context K1, the fill of a boundary ditch, which contained 3 romano-British sherds.

Research results

The ceramic vessel assemblage from context K1, found during excavation of the Late Bronze Age to Middle Iron Age and Romano-British Settlement at 'Black Furlong', Blacklands, Calne Without, ahead of the excavation of a slurry pit in 2005. Context K1 was the fill of a boundary ditch, and contained a very small group of Roman sherds.
