decorative copper alloy object

Description

Summary: 1 piece of decorative bronze with a rivet hole at each end, enclosed in a trefoil design, and longer spur projection opposite. The ends are joined by 2 metal strips which are folded over. Probably a Medieval spur or piece of horse furniture, from the Iron Age hillfort at Budbury, Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, excavated by G J Wainwright in 1969.
