Identification note: Marked 'D.d.1' meaning 'bottom of the deeper section of the inner ditch at 'd' WANHM XLIII p 58

Summary: 1 sherd, re-assembled from six sherds, of carinated style burnished fine ware, well fired, black part-bowl with rim and shoulder, from the early Iron Age Hillfort at Figsbury Rings, Winterbourne Dauntsey, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs M. E. Cunnington and Mr B. H. Cunnington, 1924.
