Identification note: Each of the fourteen photographs are entered separately with the numbers DZSWS:2021.7006.1 to DZSWS:2021.7006.14

Summary: a black and white photograph mounted on card and is atributed as being 'Granny (about 1907)'; it is of Sarah Elisabeth Bennet Godwin, who carried on her father's business 'Bennett's Antiques' established in 1801. Sarah Godwin was the first woman antique dealer in Devizes, she died in June 1943/It is part of the collection of fourteen photogrpahs that were all puchased in a goup lots of archives and books form the Auctioneers Henry Aldridge and Sons Ltd
