Description

Summary: A moderate pottery assemblage in generally good condition. Dating ranges from the late Iron Age to Saxon period. Of note are examples of Samian ware, especially the sherd of decorated Samian. Archive associated with an excavation following a previous trial trench evaluation by MOLA Northampton (MAM11). The excavation uncovered the remains of part of an Iron Age/ Roman farmstead, a Medieval pit, and Post-medieval ditches. MAM13
