Identification note: All 3 barrows previously excavated by J Thurnam in 1860, see WAM VI, p.323.

Summary: 1 body sherd of possibly beaker pottery, hard granular fabric, orange brown exterior, interior and core, finger pinch decoration, from the mound, from round barrow G62, Roughridge Hill, Bishops Cannings, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs E Proudfoot, 1964.
