Description

Summary: 1 bag of Peterborough ware sherds including rims displaying typical Mortlake forms, developed T-shaped rims, deep conclave necks and pronouced shoulders decorated in zones of parallel upright or oblique impressions made by single or whipped cord. From a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans, on behalf of WANHS, 1967.
