Summary: Memorabilia and photographs of Froxfield - The War Years. Includes 44 black and white photographs taken between 1903 and 1950's and 2 colour photographs dated 1996; Photocopy of newspaper cutting from the Marlborough Times May 7 1920, recording the death of Mr Thomas Dixon of Froxfield; Photocopy of certificate awarded to Reginald Pike by the Froxfield Welcome Home Committee for part played in the 1939-1945 War; Photocopy of Certificate of Proficiency in Home Guard training, belonging to Mr A. W. Dixon, dated 1 April 1944 and photocopy of Mr Dixon's certificate issued to all Home Guard members, for his service between June 1940 to December 1944; Photocopy of 'Liberation of Norway' citation, issued to thank members of British Armed Forces, dated December 1945.
