Description

Summary: One disk-shaped piece of worked chalk, edges carefully trimmed, a hole partially drilled on both sides, possibly an unfinished spindle whorl or drill steadier, from the iron age period, from All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings, Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
