Summary: 1 whetstone of Carboniferous sediment, a massive, fairly fine-grained grit with mica flecks, possibly Millstone Grit imported from the Pennines or South Wales together with 1 other piece of worked stone, from an excavation at New Park Street, Devizes, Wiltshire, carried out by the Field Archaeology Unit, Institute of Archaeology, University College London, 1990.
