Content summary: 7 December 1799: John Britton to William Cunnington- is unable to send the book he ordered as his uncle has died suddenly but will get an unbound copy for £1 16s 6d 2gns in boards. Has seen Mr Wansey at Salisbury, 'who treats me with much reserve and shy coolness- it appears to me that he was jealous of my undertaking-or the reception I met with. Mr W. is got into much disrepute by his Theological Controversy.
