Summary: Emery Walker (later Sir Emery)(on left), one time secretary to William Morris, together with his business partner Thomas Cobden-Sanderson outside the rear of the Doves Press. Emery Walker was the mentor of Ethel May Offer, who later married Ernest Sandell and became the mother of Richard Emery Sandell, Librarian of WANHS; Emery Walker was Richard Sandell's godfather.
