Summary: 1 English art pottery vase, one of a pair, in orange red clay, bowl shaped with tapering neck from a pronounced shoulder, four stem holes to neck, flat base, body of vase hand painted with scenes of cottages amidst fields and trees, 2 butterflies transfer printed superimposed, manufacturer not known, circa 1900, acquired from the McLaren Foundation, Clouds Estate, East Knoyle, Salisbury, Wiltshire, 2005.
