Summary: 20 black and white photographs of Miss Gesine Richards of Devizes, Wiltshire. 1, 2 and 3 - Studio portraits of Gesine when a child. 4 - wedding group photograph, Gesine is seated at the fron, 2nd right. 5 and 6 - Gesine at Devizes Grammar School, 1925. 7, 8 and 9 - Gesine with her family, (7) Gesine with her sister, Kath and parents, (8) Kath, unknown female and parents, (9) Gesine, Kath and unknown female with Mr Richards standing in the background. 10 - Gesine in fancy dress costume. 11 - Gesine, 2nd right, in fancy dress costume for Devizes Carnival c. 1925. 12 - Gesine and Kath in swimsuits on a shingle beach, July 1929. 13 - 17 -Gesine worked in the library at "Boots", (13) Gesine and two colleagues in the library, (14) "Boots", (15) "Boots" main entrance with two gentlemen, possibly colleagues, standing in the entrance, (16) Gesine with two colleagues on "Boots" roof, (17) Gesine with a female colleague on "Boots" roof. 18 and 19 - Gesine and female friend with some of the soldiers who were billeted to the Richards' home. 20 - Gesine with an unknown male.
