Description

Identification note: Classified as Type 1.3 (gouges) Class C in Smith

Summary: 15 bone gouges, one with criss cross decoration and rivet hole drilled through the handle end, from the Iron Age period, from All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings, Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
